The history of José Luis Mateos, S.L. started in 1946, when the Mateos family entered into the business of producing Pimentón de La Vera.
Since the very beginning, Jose Luis Mateos has been a family affair, started by Isidro Mateos Pérez, who was later joined by his son, José Luis Mateos, who the company was named after.
It has now been taken over by the third generation of this family.
